This Privacy Policy explains how Big Boys Moving & Storage (“Big Boys Moving,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our websites, request a quote, or contact us. By using our sites or submitting a quote request, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, and the move details you enter (such as move date, origin and destination, home size, and any notes) when you complete our instant quote or a contact form.
- Automatically collected information. Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Advertising identifiers. If you reach us from an online ad, click identifiers (such as Google’s gclid) are captured so we can measure which ads lead to real moving inquiries.
How we use your information
- To prepare and deliver your moving quote and to schedule, confirm, and perform your move.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message (SMS), and email, and to provide customer support.
- To measure and improve our advertising and website, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate our business, and only as needed to provide the services you request:
- Customer relationship management (GoHighLevel). The details you submit are stored in our CRM so our team can quote, contact, and schedule your move, and send the text messages and emails you consent to.
- Advertising and measurement (Google). To measure ad performance, we send Google limited conversion data. This can include a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email and phone number through Google’s Enhanced Conversions feature, along with the ad click identifier described above. Hashing is done before the data leaves your browser. We also use Google Analytics to understand site usage.
- Payment processing. If and when you make a payment, it is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Big Boys Moving, our customers, or the public.
Text messages (SMS)
When you provide your phone number and agree, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Big Boys Moving about your quote and move. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consenting to texts is described at the point of collection; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cookies and your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized Google advertising at Google My Ad Center and optout.aboutads.info. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information — contact us using the details below to make a request.
Data retention & security
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, accounting, and reporting requirements, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
